Shelters open 24/7

Do you or someone you know need help overcoming homelessness or addiction?

Our Men’s Mission and Simonka Place shelters are both open 24/7. Thanks to community support, all our services are free; no insurance required.

Men's Mission

UGM’s Men’s Mission is located at:
345 Commercial Street N, Salem, Oregon 97301

There are no requirements (such as attending chapel) to receive meals, shelter, and other emergency services. These short-term solutions will help give stability to break the cycle of homelessness and addiction.

Men's Mission Meal Times
  • Breakfast: 6:30 a.m. – 7:00 a.m.
  • Lunch: 12:00 p.m. – 12:45 p.m.
  • Dinner: 5:30 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
Case Management

We connect people to the right resources, helping them overcome barriers.

Addiction Recovery

For those seeking recovery from addiction, and are looking for more than emergency services, our transformational New Life Fellowship program (NLF) may be a good fit.

Each program participant goes through stabilization, transformation of false beliefs to truth, transition into new behaviors, and ultimately find employment or new beginnings from there. This long-term residential program is based upon extending God’s love and grace in a safe and healing environment.
