Donor-Advised Funds
Partnering with churches, individuals, and organizations to maximize our effectiveness, we help the neediest of our community break the cycle of homelessness, addiction, and incarceration as men and women experience dynamic transformation in following Christ, and become contributing members of our community.
Donor-advised funds are an easy and tax-efficient way to manage charitable giving. Donor-advised funds allow donors to receive an immediate tax deduction for their charitable contribution, and then recommend grants from the fund on the donor’s own timeframe.
Clients of some of the largest Donor-advised funds can easily make a designation by conveniently clicking on the link of their fund at the bottom of this page.
Grants made to Union Gospel Mission of Salem through donor-advised funds are designated to be used “Where Most Needed.”

Other Ways to Give
Because we do not receive government funding for most of our programs, private giving from our faithful friends fuels this ministry. We assure you that financial responsibility and accountability is an ongoing and primary concern in all we do. We take seriously our duty and responsibility to be good stewards of all the resources the Lord provides. As a member of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) and the Citygate Network, we agree to comply with the recognized Standards of Responsible Stewardship.
