Dear UGM Family,
We are open and continue to serve homeless men, women, and children. Although it may look a bit different during these critical times, we remain committed to providing the vital care our community relies on: food, shelter, hygiene items, clean clothing, and compassionate, Christ-centered care.
To prioritize the safety and health of our guests, we have taken a number of precautions, including but not limited to:
- Preparing hundreds of sack lunches every day and having guests stand 6 feet apart while in line
- Requiring meal guests to wash their hands prior to eating and overnight guests to shower daily
- Sanitizing high-traffic areas every 30 minutes
- Converting day area and the chapel into sleeping areas so that mats are kept 6 feet apart
You can be rest assured that the work of UGM will go on. That’s because our community is made up of people like you. I know that you are committed to supporting the most vulnerable in our community no matter what. In good times and bad, I know you’re with us.
We are praying for you and your family to remain safe and healthy during this time.
In His grip,
